Introduction

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 establishes crimes in relation to slavery, servitude, forced or involuntary labor, and trafficking in human beings ("Modern Slavery").

KCS is committed to combating all forms of Modern Slavery. KCS recognizes that all businesses have a responsibility to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in their businesses or supply chains.

Supply chain relationships

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 defines modern slavery as “slavery, servitude, and forced or compulsory labor” as well as “human trafficking” (“Modern Slavery”). KCS opposes all forms of Modern Slavery, and we have not identified any examples of Modern Slavery within our business or supply chains supporting the services we provide to our clients.

KCS provides digital transformation and other professional services in the United States and globally. We provide expert technical services and solutions to enterprise customers in Finance, Banking, Telecom, Power & Utility, Government, Healthcare, Travel, and Retail industries. We have operations in the US, UK and South Africa and headquartered in India.

We foster long-term relationships with suppliers and avoid making demands of suppliers that might lead to them violating human rights. We are not aware of any vendors or other contracted staff visiting our offices, paying their employees a salary not equal to the London Living Wage, or an equal living wage in the area where that office is located.

We define risks for staff in our supply chain, conduct due diligence before we engage suppliers, and during the relationship. We are committed to purchasing quality goods and services from responsible suppliers and expect our suppliers to participate in compliance with our Additional Purchase Terms.

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or trafficking in human beings in our supply chains or any aspect of our industry. Our workplace policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with dignity in all our business relationships and to introducing and enforcing effective processes and controls to ensure that slavery and trafficking in human beings do not take place anywhere in our supply chains.

We have the following policies which incorporate ethical standards for our staff and our workers:

  • Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
  • Social Value
  • Bribery and Corruption
  • Whistleblowing

Training

We have a training program for our senior management and office management teams, as well as those of our employees who have responsibilities in relation to engaging the firm’s suppliers. A copy of our Anti-Slavery Policy is made available to all new joiners to KCS. We aim to continually raise awareness of the issues and increase informed scrutiny.
